Health workers battling the coronavirus pandemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo's capital Kinshasa say they will stay on strike until they get paid.
They last received their salary more than three months ago. A strike leader said they had been refused the right to sign contracts despite the risks associated with the disease, and if infected, a doctor or nurse was just sacked.
Most of the DR Congo's 7,500 registered infections are in the capital.
In May, the prime minister said more than $10m (£8m) had been allocated to fighting coronavirus, but the man in charge says he has received less than $1.5m.
