As part of efforts to help protect their patrons against the infection of the coronavirus, banks in the Suhum Municipality had instituted measures to protect their customers against the spread of COVID-19.
At the South Akim Rural Bank in Suhum in the Eastern Region, there is a security man at post at the door of the Bank with hand sanitizer, Veronica bucket and tissue papers to serve client and customers of the Bank before they entered the banking hall.
According to Mrs Linda Boateng, the Manager of the Suhum Branch of the Bank, urged the public to abide by the directives of the Ghana Health Service and protect themselves from contacting the coronavirus.
At the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB), the story was not different, all the workers were having hand sanitizers on their desk for themselves and the patrons of the Bank.
Mr Sampson Okeyere, the Branch Manager and the Operations Manager, Mr Pius Opong Aloysious advised the public to stay safe and protected from the virus.
The Branch Manager of Upper Manya Krobo Rural Bank, Mr David Kwao Narh, encouraged the public to abide and stay away from hand shaking to save life in the community.
He urged all the customers of the Bank to abide by the instructions at the entrance of the banking hall to protect themselves and also to reassure everybody in the banking hall of their safety.
