The Association of Concerned Cape Coast Citizens and Residents (ACCCCAR) have reiterated the urgent need for a national concerted effort to control the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
It had urged all to be calm, prioritizing their personal health and the wellbeing of their families in this difficult time.
In that light, the Association has called on all institutions and stakeholders to continue to work assiduously to combat the deadly pandemic.
That must be in conformity with World Health Organisation (WHO) directives as well as Ghana's domestic strategy to curtail the infection.
In a press release copied to the Ghana News Agency and signed by Mr George Justice Arthur, General Secretary of ACCCCAR, expressed deep concern about the recent pandemic that had engulfed the World, creating fear and panic among the Ghanaian citizenry and beyond.
"The Association wishes to call on the metropolitan assemblies, traditional authorities, Ghana Health Service, Ghana Education Service and security agencies to come up with safety measures to combat the pandemic."
The institutions must endeavour to equip their offices adequately with soap and water hand sanitizers at vantage points.
