The Accra Institute of Technology (AIT), ranked the top private university in Ghana, a leading technology-focus private university awarded two Nigerians the top prize during the University’s 13th Graduation Congregation held in Accra over the weekend. In a statement released by the University, Ms. UKWELLA, Uyo Juliet, who graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology was judged the overall best student of the graduation class with a cumulative GPA of 4.12 The overall best student in the Male category went to Mr. ONYINYE, Ogaraku Davidson who graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Engineering with a cumulative GPA of 4.06.
The University noted that this is the second time Nigerian students won both the Male and Female category best student awards at AIT. In 2016, Mr. Peter Hunnoho Moses, who graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology was judged the overall best student of the graduation class with a cumulative GPA of 3.99. and Ms. Odinaka Abel Favour who graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a cumulative GPA of 3.90. was judged the overall best student in the Female category.
