According to the CEO of NABCO, Dr Ibrahim Anyars the placements delayed because his outfit had to verify the qualifications of applicants before placing them.
"I believe that whoever has followed what is happening in the process would realise that was one of the stages during the selection", Dr Anyars said in an interview.
"...of course we had to queue considering the numbers that we contend with... To select 100,000 out of 130,000 qualified people after the interviews is quiet a task and so we went through two batches of placement.
"The first batch were those that went through before the 31st of August and the rest of them were on pending because we were still verifying their National Service credentials, verifying their qualifications from their various institutions.
