It is now about 98 percent done and would house the land sector agencies - Public and Vested Lands Management Division, Land Valuation Division, Survey and Mapping Division, Land Registration Division, Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority and Office of the Administrator of Stool Lands.

Mr. John Peter Amewu, the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, speaking to journalists after a tour of inspection of the project, said it was going to significantly remove delays in land title registration.

He identified the manual processes involved in land registration as a major challenge that needed to be tackled and gave the assurance that structures were being put in place for digitization of land documents.The Minister said the entire country would soon undergo autopilot in order to support the digital processing of lands documents.

He used the tour to announce that three court buildings would be constructed to support the Judicial Service under the multi-sector mining integrated project.        This would help to fast-track mining-related cases.   Mr. Amewu was in the Ashanti Region to inspect some ongoing alternative livelihood projects.
