Very Reverend(Rev.) Dr Emmanuel Asare-Kussi, Superintended Minister in-charge of Adweso Circuit of the Methodist Church has called on Ghanains to show appreciation to God for the many achievements made in 2017.
He said many successes were achieved by the country during the past year but the media have concentrated on the few challenges that reared its head making it seems nothing was happening in the country and that the country was only recording failures.
Speaking at the 31st night and new year church service at the Adweso Calvary Very Rev. Dr Asare-Kussi said there were challenges during 2017 and in the midst of all that the country achieved a lot which were appreciated worldwide and Ghanaians need to show appreciation to God adding that those success stories should be told to motivate the youth of the country to enable them strive for more success.
He urged Christians to stop their hypocritical lives styles and live faithfully according to the teachings of their faith for Ghana to be blessed by God. Very Rev. Dr Asare-Kussi urged Christians to promote the gospel and make positive impact on society.
