One – Heart Medical Centre (OHMC) on Tuesday officially opened a new hospital to provide healthcare delivery in Tamale. The 15-bed capacity health facility, fully equipped with modern medical equipment, seeks to respond to the lifelong health needs of Ghanaians and nationals of other African countries.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Dr A. Nasser Adjei, Chief Executive of Officer of OHMC, said the hospital was well equipped with two consulting rooms, theatre, scan room, pharmacy, laboratory, female and male wards, children ward, OPD and waiting area, store room and an ambulance bay.
He said the hospital would receive and manage both out- and In-patient cases such as surgery, ultrasound scan, laboratory, X-ray, ante-natal and post-natal and specialist heart care.
