Residents in and around the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis have expressed disappointment at the manner in which drivers did not pay attention to road traffic regulations.
This situation according to them had resulted in many avoidable accidents including the one which occurred on January 13 at Kwesimintin in which claimed four lives and many injured.
Ms Audrey Asibi, a passenger, told the GNA that careless driving was one of the major factors contributing to the rise of road accidents.
Alhaji Sumani Mbo, the Regional Road Safety Manager, appealed to drivers to be more careful.
