The Agona Swedru District Police Command has appealed to people living in and around Agona Swedru to assist the police to trace the relatives of a male adult who was knocked down by a Benz bus at Nime, a town on the Swedru-Oda main road some weeks ago.
Police Superintendent Samuel Yankey, District Police Commander, made the appeal in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Agona Swedru.
He said on October 2, 2010 at about 1900 hours, a driver, Ebenezer Benato was driving a Benz Bus with registration number GW5092X with 26 passengers on board from Oda to Accra.
According to the Police Commander, on reaching a section of the road at Nime, a male adult ran from a nearby bush on to the lane of the Bus and was hit by the side of the vehicle.
