Authorities of RIIS Memorial School, hosted the alumni, pupils and parents to a home-coming at its Dansoman campus in Accra to fraternise and share experiences.
It formed part of activities to celebrate its silver jubilee anniversary to be climaxed in September this year.
There was joy and merry-making especially for the alumni, some of whom had left the school a few years ago, they danced to popular hip-life songs and kpanlogo, fun games such as sack race, tug-of-war, spoon race, eating competition and choreography performances.
Mr Kwesi Ofei Ofosu-Apea, Director of RIIS Memorial School, said that the programme was to enable the alumni, some of them currently in the arts, communication and medicine, to educate the pupils on career opportunities to encourage them to work hard to achieve their set targets.
He said that this would enable the pupils and the youth to remain focused because society had difficulties, challenges and opportunities.
Other activities for the celebration, under the theme: "The Youth at the Threshold of a Very Challenging Future" include social responsibilities, clean-up exercise, career guidance day, medical screening, blood donation,
founders' durbar, graduation and thanksgiving service.
