The members of the Planned Parenthood Association
of Ghana (PPAG), at the weekend, elected a 30 year old banker, Mr Joshua F, Opoku-Menu as its

association on the national council, was elected unopposed as the national treasurer.

of young people into positions of trust by the association would be much appreciated by the
international associations to which PPAG is affiliated.

responsibility, and urged them to always seek advice when necessary.
The International Planned Parenthood Federation(IPPF) Global Legal Advisor, Mr Kweku Brenu, called on the members of the association to work hard to ensure that the association remained visible as the leading Non=Governmental Organization in reproductive heath in the
country.
Mr Brenu who is also the IPPF Africa Regional Executive Member, told the incoming council members of the association that, in spite of the challenges, they should find ways of getting more volunteers on board to contribute towards the growth of the association.
