The Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Assembly has said it would prosecute people in the municipality who refuse to keep their environment clean.
Mr Mohammed Boakye-Agyeman, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), said the assembly would ensure strict enforcement of the assembly's sanitation
bye-laws.

Mr Boakye-Agyeman led staff of the assembly to join the chiefs and people of the community to remove garbage from unauthorized disposal sites, clear weeds and gutters.
Nana Owusu Nyanin, the Kwamohene, assured the MCE of total support for the assembly's efforts at checking the unsanitary conditions in the
municipality.
