Ghanaian media personality and MC Anita Erskine has been selected to serve as a juror for the 2025 International Emmy Awards, a prestigious recognition of excellence in television programming globally.

This marks her return to the esteemed panel, and she expresses her deep gratitude to the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for the honour.

The International Emmy awards are presented annually in New York City to recognise the best television programmes initially produced and aired outside the United States. 

The awards are presented by International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS). The ceremony honours all TV programming produced and originally aired outside the United States and celebrates excellence in International Television. 

In a heartfelt post, Anita Erskine shared her excitement, highlighting her journey from being an on-screen talent to taking on various roles such as storyteller, producer, executive producer, and editor. She emphasized the importance of intentional growth and learning in her career.

Anita Erskine described her experience as a juror as a "labour of love," a moment that was both powerful and humbling. She expressed her commitment to helping shape the global television landscape by recognising outstanding programming.

Anita Erskine's post also carried an empowering message, encouraging others to value their perspectives, experiences, and evolution. 

She pointed out that everyone's growth and contributions matter, and that boldness is allowed in pursuing one's passions.

Since 2020, she has worked as a communications specialist to promote global awareness and policy change toward sustainable development through speaking engagements and event hosting.

 Her notable appearances include the Mjadala Afrika Leadership Debate 2024 at the African Union Headquarters, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Business Forum in Kigali, the Qatar Africa Business Forum in Marrakech, the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development Business Forum in Lomé, and the Global Financing Facility at UNGA 79 in New York. 

She has also hosted the Afreximbank Group Annual Meetings and the AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum in Nassau.
