Add another Hollywood award to the EGOT-winning career of Viola Davis.
The 59-year-old star will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2025 Golden Globes, the award show's organizers announced Wednesday.
Davis, who earned a best supporting actress Globe for the 2016 drama "Fences," will be recognized for outstanding contributions to the entertainment world, according to a statement from the Golden Globes, the organization that replaced the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
"Viola Davis is a luminary whose profound talent has continuously shifted the lens through which we see and understand the film," said Helen Hoehne, Golden Globes president, adding that the award represents the star's "relentless dedication to her craft and her monumental impact on the industry."
The Cecil B. DeMille Award, established in 1952 and named after the legendary director, has honored 69 past luminaries, including Walt Disney, Sidney Poitier, Barbra Streisand, Robert Redford, Oprah Winfrey and Davis' "Fences" co-star Denzel Washington.
Davis won the best supporting actress Oscar for "Fences" in 2017. The "Woman King" star achieved EGOT status − securing Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards − when she won a Grammy in 2023 for best audio book, narration and storytelling recording (for her memoir "Finding Me").
The 2025 Golden Globes ceremony, hosted by Nikki Glaser, takes place in Los Angeles on Jan. 5 and will be seen on CBS and Paramount+. The first major awards show of the season will announce nominations on Dec. 9.
