Gospel artiste, Bernard Amankwah, is gearing up to host his annual "Celebration of His Grace," concert on Sunday, September 22 at the National Theatre,
The theme of the concert, "Peace Reigns," is particularly significant as Ghana approaches her upcoming elections in December.
The concert, which promises to be an unforgettable experience, aims at highlighting the essence of peace and its importance in maintaining a harmonious society, especially during these critical times.
Bernard Amankwah, known for songs such as Your Presence, Mercy Rescues Me, and I'm Redeemed will lead an array of talented gospel musicians in a night of praise, worship, and inspiration on the day.
He will be joined by Dave de Musicbox, Selassie Brown, Roderrick Agyekum, La Famille, TY Crew and the Presence Band.
Since 2007, Bernard has always welcomed the month of September with glee since he has purposely dedicated the ninth month of the year to profoundly express his appreciation to God through his annual Celebration of His Grace concert.
Hence, Bernard Amankwah and the Presence Ministry band, with support of some of his colleagues have led Gospel music enthusiasts in moments of upliftment every September.
Speaking about this year’s concert which is the 17th edition, Bernard Amankwah stressed on the need for peace and unity in Ghana, particularly as the nation heads to the polls in December.
“As a nation, we need peace now more than ever. This concert is a call to all Ghanaians to come together and promote peace, love, and harmony, regardless of our differences.
“As a gospel artiste, I believe I have a responsibility to use my platform to promote messages that bring hope, unity, and healing to our nation. With the upcoming elections, I want to remind Ghanaians that peace is the foundation upon which we can build a prosperous and harmonious society.
“Through my concert, I want to inspire and encourage my fellow citizens to choose peace, love, and tolerance over conflict and division,” he said.
