The city of Barcelona is once again poised to be the focal point of the bridal fashion industry as it hosts the much-anticipated Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) 2024. Scheduled to take place from April 17 to 21, this year's event is heralded as one of the most significant editions in its history, featuring 37 leading brands on the catwalk and over 400 firms at the trade show.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona and supported by the Catalan Ministry of Business and Labor, BBFW 2024 is a testament to the event's growing prestige and its crucial role as a gathering place for the crème de la crème of bridal fashion designers and industry professionals. This year, the event is set to dazzle with a 14% increase in participating brands and an unprecedented level of international participation, with 80% of firms hailing from over 35 countries worldwide.

This sentiment captures the ambitious scope and the transformative vision that BBFW 2024 aims to achieve.
Adding to the excitement, the event will be graced by the presence of the renowned haute couture and ready-to-wear designer Giambattista Valli, who will unveil his third "Love Collection" for 2025 during the exclusive Barcelona Bridal Night. This marks a historic moment as it will be Valli's first exclusively bridal fashion show.
The runway will also showcase creations from illustrious couture brands like Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab, Stephane Rolland, and Viktor&Rolf, alongside other globally recognized designers such as Jenny Packham, Tony Ward, and Ines Di Santo. Georges Hobeika will be making his debut at BBFW this year, adding to the event's allure.
BBFW 2024 aims to be more than just a celebration of fashion; it seeks to be a beacon for business opportunities, creativity, and trends in the bridal industry. The "Barcelona Goes Bridal!" art installation will kick off the event, showcasing local designs and encapsulating the lifecycle of the bridal fashion industry.
With an ambitious business strategy designed to attract key international buyers, the event will see representation from more than 80 countries, emphasizing its significance in key markets across Europe, the USA, Japan, South Korea, and Latin America.
