Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale says comedian Funny Face may be battling a mental health issue beyond his marital issues.
According to the 'Kakai' hitmaker, the challenges the comedian Funny Face was going through show the poor structures of the creative industry and not necessarily the outcome of his sour relationships.
In a Facebook on Monday, Shatta Wale wrote:
“The creative arts industry must break the cycle of self-punishment through depression and frustration. It's time to speak up and seek help. What's happening to Funny Face isn't solely a marital issue; it's indicative of deeper systemic challenges within our creative industries. Let's acknowledge the dysfunction in our structures and stop pretending everything is fine. Speak up, it's time for change!! Sorry my brother funny face.
May God see you thru [sic]”.
Funny Face has been in the news in recent times with relationship issues.
The news of his involvement in a vehicular accident on Sunday has sparked fresh public discussions about Funny Face.
The Chorkor Trotro actor was involved in a motor accident at Kakraba junction in Kasoa in the Central Region.
One of the eyewitnesses said he saw the incident while parking his vehicle by the road side.
When he got closer, he saw Funny Face behind the wheel of the accident vehicle.
He claimed the car first knocked a woman and the children before going ahead to knock other two persons on motorcycles.
The woman had one child at her back and the other was walking with her. The eyewitness claimed one of the children was unresponsive when he picked him up.
A police officer later arrived at the scene of the accident and carried Funny Face, known officially as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng away.
