AS a Christian whose Bible has been a life manual, US-based Ghanaian musician, Siisi Edwards is amazed about the mystery of God’s existence as told in the Holy Book.
For years, the mystery of God has been a point of interest to his Christian life and he is pushing the “revelation” in his latest song, Mere Santen.
Sang in his native Twi language, Mere Santen glorifies God and expresses gratitude for His greatness.
According to Siisi Baidoo, he received the inspiration for the song after a prayer walk.
“I was thinking about the awesomeness of God during a prayer walk and then I conceived the chorus. I know this song will inspire others to also worship God for all that He is and what He has done for them,” he told Graphic Showbiz.
Siisi Edwards noted that he is committed to bless the world and confidently impact lives with his music.
As such, he has been deliberate about his songs carrying messages of hope, faith, love to encourage those who have lost faith in life to lean on God.
He says releasing Mere Santen cements his persuasions about his choices as a Gospel artiste.
Siisi Edwards, born and bred in Tarkwa in the Western Region and Accra, the capital city respectively, is a Computer Information Systems Engineer and a member of AgapeLife Ministries in Laurel, Maryland, USA.
According to him, music has been a part of him when he was in secondary school in Ghana but he started going to the recording studio in 2003.
That, however, didn’t yield any positive results since he lacked the professional knowledge to kick off any meaningful project at the time.
“By the grace of God, some of the praise and worship songs we sing in my church, God inspired me to write and compose them and I am truly humbled by that,” he said.
Siisi Edwards hinted at collaborating with GP Music, his team to release songs before the end of the year.
Mere Santen is now available on all digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
