Kwame Yeboah is a percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, recording engineer and music director. At this year’s Accra Jazz Festival, Kwame Yeboah and his Three O’ Band stormed the stages of the Accra Jazz festival with their Ghanaian-flavoured Jazz tunes that left the audiences astounded.
The Three O’ denoting a semibreve/whole note is a three-piece electronic Ethno Jazz band formed by Kwame Yeboah in the year 2020. With his knowledge in musical arrangements, and melody, Kwame Yeboah brings new perspective and flavour to Jazz. The band produces music using a blend of the old analogue and modern soft synthesizers, drum pads and some local percussions. The Three O’ is a leading name in the African ethno fusion of Jazz, electronic and Highlife sounds.
Kwame Yeboah has toured with legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Yusuf Slam (Cat Stevens), Alexander O’Neal, Daniel Bedingfield, Craig David, Rick Rock, Jackie Scott among others.
Kwame Yeboah has also toured with German Afro-Reggae superstar Patrice, in whose band Kwame is a key member. In 2008, Kwame Yeboah featured in a historical performance when he played a special tribute for the first black president of the United States of America, Barrack Obama during his visit to the country.
Here in his homeland, Kwame Yeboah has been instrumental in producing local artists such as Kwabena Kwabena, Manifest, Afya, Becca, and Nana Yaa.
Kwame Yeboah is known worldwide for his mastery in the craft of music, making him a must-watch artist. Kwame Yeboah is endorsed by Rolang, United Kingdom, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of musical instruments. He is also endorsed by Steinberg- makers of one of the world’s best music softwares for pianos. Even South Africa’s anti-apartheid Jazz trumpeter, Hugh Masekela affectionately refers to him as his ‘God son’.
