Jennifer Lopez’s new single is attracting attention not for the song itself, but for the cover art, which the singer unveiled Wednesday.
It’s an image of the 51-year-old singer and actress wearing nothing whatsoever in a provocative pose. Her curves and muscles — which she needs to pull off her elaborate routines, like the controversial one she performed at this week’s American Music Awards — are in full view.
Just a sampling of the comments people left:
“Can we talk about them abs?”
“Wowwww”
“Goals and respect for life. So many years have gone by and yet, here you are continuing to be better every year. That’s inspiring!”
“IM JEALOUS”
“ARE U KIDDING ME? GIRL UR BODY IS EVERYTHING.”
“I cant believe you are 51,” one person said alongside a fire emoji. They used the hashtag, “#inspiration.”
Much the same scenario played out in September, after J.Lo posted a bikini photo of herself.
Lopez isn’t one of those celebs who pretends she comes by her enviable bod effortlessly, though. She regularly talks about her workouts, which she’s said make her feel better mentally, too.
"I am 100 percent convinced that working out is part of what makes me so happy," she told Hello! in 2016. “Dance has always been a huge part of my life and taking the time to move my body and do something that’s so good for me is key to my happiness. And I really believe that when you take care of yourself and work to stay healthy, you’re better able to take care of those you love. So working out is definitely a priority for me.”
The song, “In the Morning,” is out Friday, Nov. 27.
