Silver Lining a story of two orphan sisters Isha and Ira. The siblings are separated by circumstances and reunited by destiny later in life.

Avanti passes away and Isha is left to take care of the baby. Isha overhears Raju advising her father to marry again and tries to convince her father that she is capable of taking care of everything. After Ira is involved in an accident, Shyam tells Isha that she can’t go to school. Shyam agrees to a second marriage after he is summoned by the court. Shyam leaves his children at the orphanage, lying to them that it is a hotel. Isha feels that Shyam sent them to the orphanage by mistake and tries to escape. Isha refuses to do the work assigned to her by Vrinda and is punished. Devki has plans of making money by selling Ira. Shyam feels guilty for leaving his children at the orphanage and runs from his wedding..

Rishab finds out that there was a confusion regarding who he will be marrying. He tries to tell his mother about the confusion, but things do not go well. Deepak, Preeta's ex fiancé approaches Rishab for a job in his company. Shriti gets herself into a sticky situation, Sarla immediately comes to her rescue. Rishab is deeply angry that his life is not going as planned and he cannot have the love of his life. Preeta finds Karan wounded and unconscious on the road. Karan sees Rishab and Preeta being what he thinks is too friendly with each other. He comes to his own conclusions and confronts Preeta about it.

Aliya is devastated when she finds out that Purab is bringing a girl home. Purab is having second thoughts about marrying Disha and Abhi tries to convince him to go ahead with the wedding. It is Purab and Disha's wedding ceremony, Sangram makes an entrance at the event and immediately threatens to kill the family. Pragya wakes up from the coma, she desperately wants to see Abhi as she thinks he is in danger. Aliya and Tanu force Munni to make Abhi sign over his property to Aliya. Pragya returns to the house but she is shocked by what she sees when she arrives.

Madhvi overhears Mairi and Amma talking about Barkha being outside Niranjan's office. A misunderstanding between Niranjan and Madhvi creats a small rift in their marriage. Barkha makes a very drastic and life changing decision. Madhvi begins to believe that Niranjan is having an affair with Barkha.  Gangaa takes it upon herself to try and sort out the misunderstanding between Madhvi and Niranjan. Gangaa spots Pulkit rushing out the hotel and soon after she sees Barkha unconcious. Niranjan suspects that Raj could be behind Barkha's murder. All evidence points to Niranjan and just when he thought no one trusts him, Gangaa and Sagar show they support him.

Pratik is overjoyed at the prospects of getting married. Aarti and Yash meet for the first time. Aarti goes to the resort with her in-laws for the wedding. Yash requests a private meeting with Aarti and the two get arrested. Aarti objecta when her new in-laws change her name to Arpita.
