The Central Regional Minister, Madam Ama Benyiwa-Doe has assured investors in the region of adequate land and security to ensure the booming of their establishment.
The Regional Minister said this when a six-man delegation from the USA, led by the mayor of Charlottesislle-Virgina, Mr Dave Norris on a good-will mission in country paid a courtesy on called her at her office in Cape Coast.
Madam Benyiwa-Doe said the Central Region has many tourist attractions and a vast area of investments and urged investors to take the advantage and invest in the region.
Mayor Norris and his team are in the country to explore areas they could offer assistance and also establish a sister-city relationship with the Effutu Municipal Assembly to promote education, business investment, youth development and culture and Tourism.
The people also participated in the celebration of the Aboakyer festival of the chiefs and people of the Effutu Traditional area to see how the festival could be developed into tourist attraction.
Nana Acheampong Ghartey, a citizen of Winneba resident in the USA who master minded the programme commended Mr. Norris and Mr. Mike Hammah, MP for the area for the success of the visit.
The team later visited some tourist attractions in the Central Region, including the Kakum National Park and the Elmina and Cape Coast castles.
