The GSE All-Share Index, the main measure of performance of the Exchange, dipped by 7.27 points to close 10,781.02 points.
The change year to date now stands at 63.35 per cent.
On the broader market Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) lost GH¢0.01 at GH¢1.29 and State Insurance Company (SIC) was down by GH¢0.01 to close at GH¢0.56.
Over 1.9 million shares changed hands on the back of block trades in Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) and Super Paper Products Company, which sold one million and 871,200 shares respectively.
Market capitalisation was also lower at GH¢18,052.91 compared to GH¢18,057.51 million at Thursday's close.
