The Ghana Tourism Development Company Limited (GTDC) has inaugurated a new governing board, tasked with fostering innovation and ensuring sustainable growth in Ghana’s tourism investment sector.
The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, officially swore in the board at a brief ceremony in Accra on Monday, August 4. She urged the newly appointed members to provide visionary leadership and uphold transparency and accountability in the discharge of their duties.
Ben Ohene-Ayeh will serve as Chair of the Board, while Professor Kobby Mensah takes up the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Other board members include Angelo Norkplim Agbodzie, Dora Nanahemaa Adjoa Awindor, Nangeh Adjoba Kyiamah, Zakaria Tanko Musah, Dr. Geoffrey Deladem Tamakloe, Awudu Lash Jnr Baguah, and Atsu G. Klugah.
The GTDC plays a strategic role in developing tourism products and promoting public-private investment partnerships to boost Ghana’s tourism sector.
