As the festive season approaches, the Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) is calling on Ghanaians to make the Ghanaian chocolate a central part of their holiday celebrations.
Nana Agyemang Ansong, Head of Sales and Marketing at CPC, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that chocolate is an ideal treat for bonding with family and friends during the festive season.
He assured the public that CPC had produced an ample supply of 'Golden Tree' chocolates for the market, ensuring that everyone could enjoy the nutritional benefits of consuming and sharing chocolate this yuletide.
While no new products have been introduced specifically for Christmas, Nana Ansong highlighted the availability of gift packs in various shapes and flavours designed to add a unique touch to the season's celebrations.
He emphasized that by choosing Ghanaian chocolate, consumers were not only enhancing their festive experience but also contributing to CPC's vision of positioning Ghana as a global hub for chocolate.
Reflecting on challenges during the year, Nana Ansong mentioned that global cocoa supply faced some disruptions. However, the Ghana Cocoa Board supported the company by ensuring the factory received the necessary cocoa beans for uninterrupted production throughout the year.
