Keynote speakers emphasized the importance of sustainable agricultural practices and youth involvement in coffee farming. Lawrence Twum, Executive Director of the Seed Production Division (SPD), reaffirmed SPD's commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable coffee seeds to meet farmers' demands. Larry Attipoe, National Coordinator for the Alliances for Action program under the International Trade Centre (ITC), encouraged the youth to embrace coffee farming as a means of achieving economic independence and reducing reliance on government job provision. Ivy Osei-Sampah from the Coffee Federation of Ghana discussed ongoing challenges farmers face in post-harvest marketing and outlined support measures to mitigate these issues.

The event concluded on a high note with the commencement of the distribution of nearly one million coffee seedlings by the SPD and supported by the EU-OACPS Business Friendly Programme. The event underscored the collective effort by key actors to revitalize Ghana’s coffee industry and set a solid foundation for its future growth and sustainability.
