E-zevis, an online marketplace, has been launched in Accra as part of efforts to make the purchase of goods and services simpler and convenient.
Launched by Shanaza Technologies, Inc., the marketplace mobile application is designed to serve the needs of customers globally with options to sell, buy and swap items at the comfort of their homes.
The mission, according to the Co-Founder, Jerome Nii Kpakpo, was to become the biggest online marketplace in the world.
“This is also an opportunity for the youth to gain employment by utilising the platform to trade,” he stated.
He added that there were several opportunities that many Ghanaians could access on the app, and urged all to take advantage.
“We are here to change the narrative by making it very easy for people to access items, do business and enrich themselves. It is a global platform that serves the needs of everyone,” he stressed.
“E-zevis Marketplace is poised to redefine the local shopping experience, offering a seamless platform for consumers and businesses to connect, explore, and transact within an innovative digital ecosystem,” he said.
“The app’s cutting-edge features empower users with unprecedented convenience and access to a diverse array of goods and services, fostering economic growth and community empowerment,” he added.
In his keynote address under the topic “The Critical Role of Telecommunications in Delivering Stable and Affordable Internet Connectivity to Ghanaian Businesses”,Dr Prince Kofi Kludjeson, the President of Kludjeson International/Celitel Networks Limited, said Ghana was moving towards Artificial Intelligence and the app was timely.
“Ghana’s best situation is yet to come and the development of such apps will go a long way to boost the economy,” he said.
“Let us partner with the app developers to succeed as Ghana is gradually becoming the centre of trade on the continent with the AfCFTA initiative,” he stressed.
He commended the developers for their efforts.
