The Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of GOIL, Kwame Osei Prempeh, has cut the tape to officially open a newly refurbished service station at Kwabenya, Accra.
Located near the Atomic Road Kwabenya Roundabout, the modern service station is equipped with an ultra-modern GoCafe, auto centre, Lube bay, a pharmacy and a restaurant.
Speaking at the opening, Mr Kwame Osei Prempeh said GOIL was committed to serving quality fuels to its customers.
He appealed to Ghanaians to continue to patronise GOIL products and services which offered value for money.
Mr Prempeh affirmed that GOIL would continue to establish more ultra-modern stations nationwide as part of a drive to ensure that every Ghanaian enjoyed the benefit of quality fuels.
The Chief Operating Officer of GOIL, Mr Alex Adzew, added that the company’s push to provide quality products at affordable prices for its customers had been amply demonstrated with the introduction of the higher grade SUPER XP RON 95, which sold as the same price as normal fuel.
He added that GOIL had pushed hard to ensure that the sale of low sulphur content diesel which ensures engine longevity and safe environment.
The Zonal Manager, South, Helen Kyeremanteng, said the Atomic Roundabout station would serve as a one stop shop for the public.
Present at the ceremony were the dealer of the station, Oheneba Frimpong, as well as other GOIL dealers, Police chiefs, officials from NADMO, Fire Service, and executives of driver groups and unions.
