The award was in recognition of the Afro Villa Apartments development currently ongoing at Ningo Prampram which is offering five-year interest free mortgages.

Alhaji Salamu's award was received on his behalf by the CEO of the EIB Network, Bola Ray.

However, Alhaji Salamu who is currently out of the country on business took to Facebook to reiterate his commitment to provide affordable housing to low and middle income earners in Ghana.
