Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) South Africa appointed Helga Edwards as Senior Liability Underwriter effective November 18, 2020, reporting to Regional Head of Liability in Mediterranean and Africa, Marine Ress , and AGCS South Africa CEO Thusang Mahlangu. She has over 30 years of experience in financial services having worked for banks and insurance companies in South Africa.

Before joining AGCS, Helga’s role was that of Liability Manager at SHA. “We are confident that Helga’s expertise, track record, and network will enable us to profitably expand our Liability book of business in Africa,” says Marine Ress.
