The Breman Brakwa.Rural Bank (BBRB)has donated quantities of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to institutions and organizations in the District.
The exercise, which formed part of the Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) l, was aimed at giving strong support to tame the spread of the Coronavirus.
The items included; quantities of Veronica buckets, nose masks, liquid soap, tissues and hand sanitizers.
Mr Felix Dapaah, the General Manager of the Bank said it was part of the Bank's contribution to support efforts by the government to fight the further spread of the coronavirus in the country.
The Bank recognized the need to care and protect its customers from being infected and stop the spread of the virus in their various communities.
"As much as we value our customers and the community that permit us the space to thrive and operate".
"We believe these crucial times of the COVID-19 pandemic is an opportune time to prove how much we care for the people, especially our customers and custodians," Mr Dapaah said.
He noted that the pandemic had created fear and panic among the populace and therefore urged all corporate entities to give their all to support its fight.
"We all have to help the Government in fighting this Virus by educating and sensitizing our people to put behind them all fears and rather abide by the directives from the President."
He asked the public to regularly wash their hands and adhere to all safety measures adding that the bank would keep monitoring developments on the COVID-19 and take decisions that would be in the best interest of customers and employees.
St the Ajumako main lorry station, Mr Kojo Amissah, the Station Master of the branch thanked the Bank for its commitment to support all to drastically reduce the spread of the virus.
He reiterated the need for a concerted effort to garner all the resources required to combat the virus.
