MIE Events DMCC as part of MIE Groups, the Dubai-based global trade fair organizer and consultancy, the firm behind the successful CTW series across the Middle East and Africa and Rwanda’s Private Sector Federation (PSF), a Country’s Private sector umbrella dedicated to promoting and representing the interests of business community in Rwanda, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Based on this MoU, both sides agreed on raising the profile of CTW events through joint promotion, and to spur bilateral trade between China and Africa. Commenting on the strategic agreement, David Wang, Chairman and Founder, MIE Groups, said: "We are extremely delighted to partner up with Rwanda’s Private Sector Federation and have them as our new local partner. MIE’s expansion in Africa in particular fits with DB Schenker’s Africa strategy as the German logistics group has recently joined Germany’s “Pan-African Mobility Alliance”, a masterplan to lift the transport infrastructure of the continent which boasts a total population of 1.3 billion people in 54 countries. Prime events launched and operated by MIE Group in the last six years are the successful China Trade Week (CTW) exhibition and conference series, along special trade fairs such as the African Technology Show.
