KOFARB Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of KOFARB Poland, has launched a range of environmentally-friendly paint products that can be used in domestic and industrial applications.
The product range which comes with a six-year warranty includes KOFATERM White; a thermal and acoustic insulation paint, KOFATERM Grey; a waterproof paint, KOFAKOR Anti-Rust; a paint that provides active corrosion protection and KOFABIO; a bactericidal and fungicidal paint.
The Director of KOFARB Poland, Mr Kamil Nowacui, in a presentation on the features and durability of the company's products, said the paint has properties which makes it ecologically friendly.
He said the paints were energy-saving and could reduce the energy needs of industries if applied properly in both interior and exterior applications.
Launch
In an address at the launch of the products on Friday, January 17, 2019, Mr Jacob Gbati, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KOFARB Ghana Limited, said the company has plans to establish a production plant in Ghana which would supply paints to the West African sub-region.
Mr Gbati said his outfit had selected Ghana as the point of entry for KOFARB paints in Africa, adding that if the product is adopted by Ghanaians a strong case would be made for the establishment of a production plant.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Kpone Katamanso, Mr Solomon Appiah, who launched the products, said the government was committed to creating an enabling business environment for Foreign Direct Investment.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting foreign investors to set up businesses in Ghana that will create jobs and boost the national economy.
Mr Appiah pledged that the Kpone Katamanso Assembly would use KOFARB paints for their projects.
