The Leadership of the Ghana Hubs Network will from December, 13 to 14 host its Annual Gathering to provide a unique opportunity for technology hubs and other stakeholders in the ecosystem to convene, network and share knowledge.
A statement issued by the organisers said the Gathering will be held on the theme "Building a model entrepreneurship ecosystem, the role of ESOs".
The second edition of the Ghana Hubs Network Annual Gathering 2019 is funded by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and Make-IT.
It said the Annual Gathering would create opportunities for the members of the Ghana Hubs network and its stakeholders to meet and engage the Ghanaian technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem to exchange knowledge and network.
The statement said it was to build collaborative relationships and share resources about the opportunities that the data revolution and innovation in Ghana presented for social and economic development.
"The two-day gathering will feature panel discussions, an investor pitch, multiple parallel workshops and exhibitions," it added.
It said the topics would be centred around data driven innovation, the digital economy, Internet of Things, innovation ecosystems and trending technologies.
It said the Make-IT promotes technology entrepreneurship for sustainable and inclusive development worldwide, initiated by Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, together with the European private sector and Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS).
It said KAS is a political Foundation, closely associated with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, established to promote transparency and political participation with organisations of the civil society (NGOs).
