The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) on Thursday assured customers and the motoring public that it will not relent in its efforts to improve upon the quality of products to satisfy all its customers.
“We have for example acquired a mobile Laboratory Can to do on the spot checks of fuel before sale to our customers. We have also through continuous monitoring, ensured that our cherished customers get value for money that is getting the right quantity of fuel purchased at all service stations.
“Above all, we are taking steps to scale up customer service delivery this year. I therefore appeal to every Ghanaian to continue to buy from GOIL because when you patronize GOIL products, you are indirectly strengthening our economy,” Mr Alex Josiah Adzew, Chief Operating Officer stated in Accra.
Mr Adzew, who was speaking at a ceremony to end the “GOIL Efie ne Fie,” promotion, launched in October 2018, noted that unlike other multinationals in the downstream sector, GOIL’s profit are plough back into the Ghanaian economy to benefit the people.
As part of the ultimate package for the “Efie ne Fie promotions,” 1,000 top customers, who accrued the highest points, were rewarded with prizes ranging from GHC 300.00 to GHC1,000.00 worth of fuel on GOIL’s Go card; weekend stay for two and Free servicing of vehicles.
In November 780 customers were rewarded, whilst in October 720 beneficiaries were also rewarded. Overall, 2,500 customers had benefitted from the ultimate rewards during the three month period.
Mr Adzew said additionally, 918,420 customers received instant rewards during the promotion. It is significant to note that the beneficiaries, made up of private and commercial vehicle owners were from the over 300 service stations spread across the nation.
He assured customers that GOIL would continue to reward them for their loyalty.
