The Management of Toyota Ghana Company Limited has launched the new Rush model as part of its 20th Anniversary Celebration. Ghana is the first country in the Sub-Sahara Africa division of the Toyota Motor Cooperation (TMC) to launch the new Toyota model.
Mr Takuya Kajiura, the Managing Director, Toyota Ghana, speaking at the launch said once again Toyota, through deep research, has developed an innovative product that meets the needs of customers in all aspects of performance.
He said the stylist and innovative model was an engineering collaboration between the TMC and Daihatsu Motors, their partners. He said the new Rush model operates on a 1.5 litre engine with significant fuel efficiency for customers in a developing markets like Ghana.
"The design of the model has given ample considerations to customers drive comfort, safety, manoeuvrability and efficiency in running cost, among other factors," he added. Mr Kajiura said the new Rush has a capacity to accommodate seven persons with enough luggage space still at the rear.
In another development, the management of Toyota Ghana has presented a cheque of GHc10,000 to two patients of the Cardio Centre of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and also refurbished some facilities at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, as part of the 20th Anniversary Celebrations.
