Mr Benjamin Afful-Eshun, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ahantaman Rural Bank Limited, has stressed the need for effective business engagement on regular basis to strengthen existing commercial ties as well as growth.
“Business expansion, financial growth, job creation are critical to economic and personal development and that is why we at Ahantaman have taken it upon ourselves to constantly engage our clients, give them tit bits on how to grow their businesses”.
Mr Afful-Eshun was speaking at the Corporate SMEs seminar organized for top clients of the Bank under the theme: “Growing Customer Business Through Effective Collaboration”. He said in today’s business environment, much more sacrifices, strategies and managerial skills were needed in order to stay active in the competition, adding, “We are committed to supporting our clients to climb up the ladder”.
The CEO therefore entreated them to stay focused on the very things that would enable them to advance in business, apply the right skills and invest in the banks to enable the banks give loans with little interest.
Mr Vincent Essien, Board Chairman of the Bank, encouraged the clients not to abuse the successes they seemed to be “chopping at the survival stage of their businesses…This is the time to diversify your products, put in place quality personnel and human relations to reach the maturation stage”.
A Magistrate Judge, Mr Eric Danning, explained to the clients the need to be cautious of contracting other business portfolio that may have direct or indirect impact on their businesses.
