As part of efforts to offer its customers highly interactive and a more satisfying experience, telecom service provider, Tigo, has opened a new Customer Experience Centre at the Osu Oxford Street mall.
Chief Commercial Officer for Tigo, Mr Tara Squire, said the opening of the office was a demonstration of Tigo’s commitment to ensuring access and convenience for existing and new customers.
“Today, the official opening of our new Experience store is a symbol of our continued commitment of staying ahead in anticipating and meeting the needs of our customers,” he said.
He said getting closer to the customers was an important part of Tigo’s business strategy.
“It allows our customers to quickly, easily and conveniently access our range of innovative products and services,” Mr Tara said.
He said driven by the commitment to improved customer care and experience, Tigo had started aggressive expansion of its distribution channels and also investing heavily to build a more stable, reliable and resilient network that meet the needs of customers.
Mr Tara said Tigo increased its distribution channels by 40 per cent last year following the adoption of various initiatives, including increasing the footprints for Mobile Financial Service agents, stepping up on Point of Sale activities and new dealer management initiative.
Besides, there was the commissioning of a Digital Support Centre in Tema to offer a range of superior digital customer services.
“Just like our other Experience Centres, this shop stocks a wide range of devices, has dedicated staff to respond to the needs of customers ranging from data to mobile financial services,” Mr Tara added.
