Nigerian operator Globacom is expanding its credit option to give customers extra data. The new product Borrow Me Data gives customers who have been on the network for a period of time and use an average amount of monthly data to borrow up to 2 GB of data when their plans run out and they have no airtime to recharge. The option can be activated over USSD and the data repaid the next time the customer tops-up. Glo already offers a similar option to get airtime on credit.
